and is liking it quite nicely.
today i went to tesco and just walked around for a while looking at things but not really looking at them. nobody saw me and i liked this. i found a dress that looked nice on a sale rail between the fruit section and the tampons section. i looked at myself in the big white changing room that looked like it was for wheelchair people in the big mirror for a while. the dress looked funny. it made my bum look like i was wearing a nappy, and though the floral print was nice close up from far away it looked a bit ganky and very much like it was from tesco. the shape was pretty nice though, apart from the bum thing, and it had a nice low front which woulda looked really nice without a bra.
i really wanted to get some rice pudding for some reason even though i never really like it, but the idea is very comforting. instead i got a pack of 30 colouring pencils for 34 cent.
i also saw a picture of maggie gyllehaal on the cover of marie claire. she is so radiant, i have such a big girl crush on her, it’s not very healthy.

I got a comment from a guy called Nigel Tomm a while ago. I checked out his blog, and was a bit confused at first. I could try to explain, but instead I urge you to see for yourself! He is effing hilarious, using the internet to build up an impressive CV. He has, according to his site, written 35 books, including Romeo and Juliet Remixed, Hamlet Remixed, The Blah Story volumes 1-23, and Vampirella’s Gangbang Sex Book Was About Nicole Richie, Sienna Miller, Kim Kardashian & Paris Hilton: It Wasn’t Group Style Calendar or Gangbanging Fashion Biography With Diamonds & Jewelry in Archives. All his books are available to buy on Amazon. Nigel has also made some films; The Catcher In The Rye, Waiting For Godot, Hamlet, and Qur’an. All of which consist of a screen of colour. These, too, can be bought on Amazon. (how BRILLIANT is this!?) He also does paintings and music, check them out yourselves. He is so brilliant. And even though I know that if I was to buy one of the films online all I’d get would be an hour of colour on the screen, for some reason I REALLY want it. I love what he’s doing lots. And lots.

You know when for no reason you get really upset for no particular reason, and things like listening to a song (not even a patricularly sad one) sends you into floods of tears?
I’ve been like that pretty much non stop whenever I’m alone for the past week, what the hell is up?
I’m also not doing any art, but craving to make loads of music. So I’m just going for it, saying FUCK HOMEWORK and trying to get all this crazy feeling out of me. FUCKING HELL, WHY CAN”T I STOP CRYING?

Bonjour (:
Have I told you about France? Not properly. Well, then, I will now! I was super-cool! Staying in St Cloud (pronounced san cloo) was pretty amazing, because it is on a bit of a hill beside Paris, so the views are amazing. My pen-friend’s aunt’s apartment has a rooftop terrace, where we sat while the sun went down, and watched the Eiffel Tower sparkling.
It was quite amazing. Hanging out with Chirine’s friends was fun, after I got used to them, and got more comfortable speaking French. The first few days were not nice, though. I didn’t know how to act, or what to do, or anything! I felt very self concious, also. What is it about the French? Their air of cool is quite intimidating (the Spanish and Italians have it too. What happened to the Irish? Why are we so AWKWARD?) And they were all very beautiful. I felt a bit like a person with boils all over their face, in a room full of models. I felt like Uggo. (hah) At the beginning I understood very little. So, whenever anyone laughed I was sure it was at me. But after a while I understood more, and then I was able to pick up what a conversation was about, at least. So I knew when they were talking about me, and when they weren’t. And I started to enjoy myself!
I think the highlight of my trip was going on the METROOO! I took pictures, want to see?
The whole thing was a great experience. It was very lucky of me to get to hang out with typical French teenagers, an insight into the culture! Even so, I do want to go back, and do the touristy things properly. I mean, I saw the Eiffel Tower, but didn’t climb it. I saw the Mona Lisa, but didn’t see anything else in the Louvre. I went shopping, but in chain stores, not wonderfully unique Parisian vintage shops or anything. It was great, but WATCH OUT PARIS, I’LL BE BAAACKKK!
Also, on a completely different note, I found pictures from last December, when I ripped up a pair of tights. I know Susie Bubble did something similar recently, but I swear I did it ages ago! (Does anyone remember? I wore them once, when we were making stuff for the trade fair.. ) Anywhoo, I think it’s kind of blog worthy, and just because they were taken like six months ago doesn’t mean they should be lost in some folder on my computer, does it? No! That would be wasteful, and we can’t be wasteful in this day and age, what with global warming and oil prices and all that jazz.
So here are the pictures (:

With the family (not so cool) but I’m positive it’ll be great! We’re flying in to Pisa, and staying at a very Graaand hotel for the night. The Royal Victoria Hotel.. phooer!
Next day we’re getting the train up to Genoa, where we will be staying in an apartment. I’m really looking forward to the shopping on this trip! I want shoes, a bag and a pair of jeans. Of course many other silly things that I’lll come across, but I think Italy is a good place to buy these staples!
While Italy is famous for leather, I really need a pair of plimsoll- type shoes, like converse (not hi-rise) or Keds. I think that if I come across a pair of good leather shoes I’ll grab them, though!
I want a leather bag, even though the idea of leather is uck! Something that looked like one of these would do me fine, thank you!

Oh, why are bags so beautiful?
I am lusting toward a pair of Levi 501s, but I think I really need to try them on to make sure that I can carry them off. The crotch is longer than I’m used to!
Hmm… well goodbye for a while!
MIAOW!

Sales!
Urban Outfitters:
really great US online sale. sterling to euro makes it expensiivve though.
I love this jacket! It’s 24.99 sterling, which translates as €37.
To get this sent to me it would cost £8.95 or €13.
So in total it would cost €50.
I don’t want it THAT much!

This seems good value in sterling, for a coat.
£30=€44. Still good value! total= £38.94= €58.
It’s still value for money, because it’s classic cut would last for ever.
I won’t be buying though

This dress is so cute!
Only £19.99=€30… oh.
Not so wow any more.
The fact that it’s out of stock makes me feel so much better though.

This is down from 20-something. It looks mega comfy. I’m really needing some basics, so it would be great.
It costs £4.99=€7.00. Still good value.
With p&p it’s £13.94=TWENTY ONE EURO! Wow.

Although not quite as enthusiastic, I will go on with shoes:
These are £100. Can’t afford em. Do you REALLY want to know what it’d cost me to get them shipped to me?
£108. 94… €161 The increase doesn’t seem as radical this time. Still, can’t afford them.

NEXT PLEASE!
Phhooer, nice lingerie.
Bra: £6.99, €10.00
panties: £5.99, €9.00
Both to be delivered to me: £23.93, €35.
Not TOOO bad. still, I wouldn’t pay that.
If I bought em in the shop it would be €19. That’s a saving of €16. You can buy, like 3 bra and pants set in Penneys for that. Grrr..

Topshop:
This dress is nice! £25.. €37. I wouldn’t pay THAT much for it! You can guess how much more expensive after delivery it would be!

I REALLY like this dress. Down from £60 it’s £30. For all you people who work in sterling I would say BUY IT!

OH I GIVE UP!
Sales are crap, let’s all go to ebay, or any other european country and buy cheap clothes.
